Question 1:
The measurement for a pair of jeans is stated as size 28. What does that mean?

The measurement is taken by measuring the length of a garment lying flat and multiplying that by 2. E.g. 14 inches x 2 = 28 inches in circumference.

Where applicable, we will always advise if it is a low rise pair of jeans, mid hip or low waist jeans, etc.

Question 2:
The measurement for bust stated 16". What does that mean and can it fit bust size 32C?

16" means 16 inches.

The measurement is taken by measuring one side of the garment lying flat and multiplying that by 2. A bust measurement of 16" can fit up to bust chest circumference of 32" regardless of cup size.

Tip: If you are wearing 34B or 34C, look for measurement of 17" or 18," which will allow a more generous fit.

Question 3:
This is my first time purchasing from Heavens Jeans. How can I make sure the item will fits me without trying?

Please have a measuring tape with you. It can roughly guide you to the size of the the item in question.

Tip: Take one of your own favourite items (dress, jeans, tops...) and measure the neck width, arm width, arm length, pant width, length, etc). In this way, when you make a selection, you will know the measurement and length that best fits you.

Question 4:
What is the difference between normal postage and registered mail?

Normal postage: There is no tracking number for your parcel.
If you did not receive your parcel, SingPost is unable to track the item.

Registered mail: A tracking number is provided for your parcel.
You can go to www.singpost.com.sg to track your items whereabouts.

Tip: Please opt for registered mail if you are buying 2 or more items.It acts as an insurance. Heavens Jeans and SingPost will then be able to help track your items.

Question 5:
Is there a difference in the delivery method between normal and registered mail?

There is no difference in the delivery method...

For small parcels, the postman will slot into your mailbox regardless of whether you opt for normal or registered mail.

For bigger parcels, the postman will deliver to your doorstep.

If no one is at home, the postman will issue a collection receipt. In order to arrange for next day delivery or an alternate time to your convenience, you will need to bring your collection receipt and arrange it directly with your nearest SingPost office.

Question 6:
How long does SingPost takes to deliver?

Approximately 2 - 3 working days.

Question 7:
I opted for normal postage and I have not received the parcel after 5 days, what can I do?

Call your nearest SingPost office to check. The postman might have forgotten to leave the collection reciept.

Alternatively, contact Heavens Jeans and ask us to be on the look out for a possible returned parcel. Please do not accuse us for not sending out the parcel. We always keep a proof of postage!

Question 8:
Are white and light (pastel, yellow, cream, baby colours, etc) colour garments sheer?

Regardless of the material thickness, nude undergarments are always recommended for white and light colour garments. Sometimes, even with an inner lining, please expect a little see-through for lighter-coloured garments, especially under sunlight or strong lighting.

Question 9:
Can I exchange if I don't like the item I purchased?

We seek to describe the item as accurately as possible and will advise if the photograph portrays it otherwise...

We do not have an exchange or refund policy. Any exchange or refund is based on a case-by-case basis, and ONLY applies to defective items.

All defective items must be reported within 5 days from the date the parcel is posted out.

No requests will be entertained afer the defective-goods exchange period stated above.

Question 10:
How do I ensure that my purchased items are not damaged in shipment?

We pack all our merchandise in water proof packaging and endeavor to ensure that any damage in transit is minimized as much as physically possible.

Question 11:
Why do you charge the way you do for postage and handling?

Our denim is of high quality and thus weighs more than cheaper denim. The total weight, inclusive of beads and gemstones, results in the relatively higher cost of postage and handling.

Our postage and handling cost is for each item purchased.

Question 12
I have other questions not outlined in your FAQs. What do I do?

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like before you make your purchase. This is especially important if you are very particular on the length, material thickness, actual color, bootleg vs straight leg, etc.

We will endeavor to answer in as accurate a manner as possible.
